Tried to capture the halo around the moon, and this was the best shot I could get. Not great, but the halo is definitely there--and it was huge. I had to try three different lenses to be able to get the entire halo ring. And, for some reason the moon appears to be full, but it is only at 72 percent.

I have loved photography since high school. When digital technology came out, could not wait to get a new camera. Once I did, there was no ending to the number of pictures I would take in one sitting. My Dad, as well as others, had always encouraged me to do something with my photos. I always just enjoyed them for myself. Then my Dad suddenly passed in April 2008. He is no longer here to encourage me, but I know he is watching over me, so I decided to launch my website for others to enjoy my images.
