We were invited to lunch at a "killer" BBQ place called Smokin' D's. To our surprise, when we pulled into their lot, people were all sitting under the shade trees behind the building eating their lunch--in their own lawn chairs. Obviously the locals know to bring their own seating. For those of us who are not informed that there is no "dining" at this restaurant (take out only), they have graciously provided this old Mack flatbed truck for a table with some tree stumps for seating. Unfortunately, it isn't shaded and you sit with the swarms of hornets that have nested in the truck. Other than that, the barbeque was great! Next time, we will be more prepared :o)
I have loved photography since high school. When digital technology came out, could not wait to get a new camera. Once I did, there was no ending to the number of pictures I would take in one sitting. My Dad, as well as others, had always encouraged me to do something with my photos. I always just enjoyed them for myself. Then my Dad suddenly passed in April 2008.
